Jennifer Parks

Jennifer Parks is a long-standing member of the Portland art scene who has been featured multiple times at Antler Gallery and at our sister space Talon Gallery. She is a multimedia artist, working with ink, acrylic paint, and clay. Much of her work is been driven by the increasingly fraught social landscape and the political circumstances which have created it. Drawing on her anxieties regarding the destruction of the environment, oppressive immigration policies and accompanying attitudes regarding race, as well as the rolling back of women’s rights this new work is imbued with a foreboding fear as well as the defiant energy of practical resistance.
