Rosa de Jong is a sculptor and designer based in Amsterdam. Her miniature worlds offer the viewer a compelling perspective on our natural and built environments by showcasing sections of earth, often adorned with human dwellings, surgically removed from the wider landscape. Suspended within sturdy wooden frames or clear test-tubes, her pieces ask us to contemplate the delicate nature of our habitat and the shelters we construct within it.
